Why do we have a moon?

WALT use the correct writing structure.I know I can do this when I can group my information into parargh.
The moon has a natural satellite in space that are able to see because of the sun.

The moon shines because it reflects off the brightness of the sun. The sun is brighter than the moon, so if it is early in the morning, the moon cannot be visibly seen.
The moon is in space and it rotates around the earth. The moon is a satellite and that is why is rotated around earth. Our moon is the fifth largest moon of the solar system. Without the moon, we wouldn't be able to see at night.

It is important to have a moon because it controls the ocean tides and this affects planet earth greatly as it balances out natural disasters that involves the sea.It is also important because it stops the earth from spinning fast in space because of it’s gravity pull.
