No, it's my last week for guitar class!

I woke up still feeling exhausted on a windy Saturday morning. First, I got ready for my guitar class. Then, I washed my face as fast as a cheetah so I would be the first person to be at guitar class lesson.

Before long, my mum and I hopped into the car and went to guitar class. While my mum was driving, I looked at the rugby field and I couldn't  see a game playing today.
When I got to guitar class I said, "Goodbye" to my mum and went inside. Then, I said, "Hello to my teacher Vernon.
After that, we started off with sitting in a circle to play Ode Joy one by one.
I started of and Vernon said that I was wonderful. Then we got into pairs to play another song called Ferolise with each other. My partner was called Maggie. We both played it at normal speed at first then we played it more faster and faster.
When we finished , we went into a circle again to play a new song with these chords Am, E, Am, C, E and Am. After I practised the new song the clock hit 11 o'clock. I rushed outside to see if my mum was there, but she wasn't so I had to go back inside to wait for her. After a little while, I went to check for her again but she still wasn't there. Then, I checked one last time and she finally arrived.
Once I hopped in the car, my mum told me that we were going to my auntie's house. However, we had to go back home to get ready. First, I grabbed some fun activities to play with. Then, I brought my guitar cards, a joke book, my drawing pad and some little snacks.
Soon, my grandma, mum and I hopped straight into the car and went to my aunties house. Twenty to twenty five minutes later, we all were there. I said, "Hello" and then went back into the car because we had to drop off my grandma and her sister to someone elses house. After we dropped them off, we said, "Goodbye". Then, my cousin, mum and I headed to Pizza hut because we were all hungry. We picked Pepperoni, Hawaiian and beef and onion. After an hour we picked up my grandma and her sister. Then, we all ate the pizza altogether like a happy family.

Mmmm, spring rolls!

Image result for spring rollsOn a bright and beautiful day, I had my guitar class at Tamaki Primary where they teach kids how to play musical instruments. Once my alarm went off I tried to stop it before it became louder. Then I got ready as soon as my mum had woken up. After that my mum, grandma, dad and I had breakfast of bacon and eggs on toast (yummy).                                                                   Later on, when it was around 9:50 my mum dropped me off to guitar lessons. While my mum was driving, I saw a bunch of people playing rugby at Dunkirk park, I saw one person kick the rugby ball as high as the sky tower. Then we parked at my guitar class. I said, "Bye" to my mum and went in. After a couple of minutes I saw Launoa and Akesa so I said "Hello" to them. We started of with sitting in a big circle, so we all could play A,B,C and D.                             Then my teacher taught us how to play the power chords D,A and C. It was really hard at first but I got it when my teacher showed me an example of the power chords. We added all the power chord together so it could be a song. Sadly it was time to go, but at least I could share it to my family and friends.                  When my mum and I got home we watched the British bake off, it was the finals. They each baked a cake so the judges could taste it. The winner was a girl named Ruby. After a while, I helped my uncle make spring rolls. We first unwrapped the spring roll pastry and rolled it with beef and veges. While my uncle was making the spring rolls, I made raw egg yolk to seal the pastry so the rolls will stick together. However we ran out of spring roll pastry, I felt sad as if I was crying inside. Thankfully we had rice paper so we used that to wrap the left over beef and vegetables.  Today was awesome because I learnt new notes, songs and chords. My favourite part was making spring rolls with my uncle because it was really yummy.

Would you like to learn to play the guitar?

On Saturday, on a dark and gloomy morning I had a nightmare so I woke up and I was so scared as if a dinosaur was chasing me. My mum told me not to be scared. I got ready at 9:30 and my mum dropped me off to my guitar class.
After my mum dropped me off I had to cross the road and the cars were all travelling at a fast speed, so it took a long time to cross the road. Finally I made it to my guitar class. The whole class and I sat into a circle. We had to share two songs which was the Joy of song and the Spanish song. When it was my turn I nailed it (finally).
After that we all got into pairs I went with Launoa and we both taught each other what we did not know. Launoa taught me the second part of the Spanish song. I taught her another song. Then we all went back into a circle again and shared what our partners had taught us.
Afterwards, our teacher taught us another song. The notes were G,E minor, D and C. Our teacher showed us an example and he played it so fast like he was a professional cook. Then he wrote it in our books so that we'd remember the notes. Finally it was eleven am, but before I left, he taught us the Yankie doodle song. Then it was time to go so I said, "Goodbye!"
Today was awesome because I got to learn new notes and new songs.
