We had arrived at Pakuranga school and everyone gathered to the cooking room. Everyone was instructed to bring a container because each pair were cooking different types of bread. Here is the procedure for our bread rolls….
½ cup warm water
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons yeast
Flour mixture:
1 cup ⅔ flour
4 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon salt
Make sure to heat your warming drawer and oven halfway.
- Pour your yeast mixture in a small bowl and place into the warming drawer.
- Sift the 1 cup and ⅔ of flour and salt into a big bowl and measure the oil and mix.
- Combine yeast mixture together with flour mixture.
- Mix until joint together. Flour table and knead.
- Cut any way and knead more.
- Place onto tray and put into the warming drawer.
- When ready, place into oven up till golden drawer.
